| General Assistant |
At Mamas & Papas, we’re driven to achieve the highest standards of quality of both products and the retail environment. Our passion for our brand has enabled us to become the No.1 nursery, baby wear and maternity retailer and we’re now looking for first class General Assistants to help develop that status even further.
In what is an important customer-facing role, you’ll undertake a wide range of key tasks, from completing sales at the till point and assisting with customer queries to replenishing stock and assisting with deliveries. In short, you’ll be helping the store to run as smoothly as possible.
To be successful in this role you must have experience within the retail sector, most probably in a stand-alone store and be a shining example of how to achieve friendly and confident customer service.
We currently have full and part time positions in our Belfast Victoria
( Opening December 2008 ) store for individuals with true enthusiasm for retail and a flexible approach to working hours, which will include some evenings and weekends.

Working alongside our Operations Manager, you’ll be involved in every aspect of store operations, from weekly stock takes and audits to delivery and replenishments. There’ll be Health & Safety, systems and compliance work to get your teeth into. Plus, you’ll have the chance to demonstrate real organisational skills and efficiency.
